Since 30 years, GEKATEX realise for their industrial customers in Automotive, Tier1 Equipment Manufacturers, Aerospace, Maritime, Railways, etc…
· Manufacturing and commercialisation of dry as well as pre moistened technical wipers and sorbents
· Development, manufacturing and commercialisation of impregnated tack rags and other dust control consumables.
· Development, manufacturing and commercialisation of buffing pads for the polishing and clean up of various surfaces.
· Commercialisation of products to « complete the range » with compounds abrasives, robotcovers, dust control mats, textile rags and many more items.
In 30 years, GEKATEX has grown from a small workshop serving local sales, to a plant of 8500 m² with worldwide sales and realise 60% turnover in export !
It’s customer base regroup several car manufacturers around the globe who brought an international expansion way beyond the European borders ! Next to it’s home base in France, Gekatex operates most of the time in the majority of European countries, but also works in India and China (« joint venture »), in Eastern Europe, in Latin America and North Africa (more than 40 countries)
Gekatex impose itself as an important partner in the creation and development of surface treatment products within the transport segment of the industrial market.

In order to continue this 30 year success story, Gekatex engage themselves to bring 30 projects/products in the year 2010 !
Industrial Projects
4 important investments In order to face the vast development of a wide variety of polishing and buffing pads, investments will be realised in 2010 (new machines to upgrade the production process, increase capacity and automate the handling)A new workshop especially developed to impregnate wiping materials and create a pre-moistened “Wet Line” of products within a well protected and adapted environment.

GEKABIO : new nonwoven range
A range of 15 new products under the GEKABIO label will be created!Gekatex continues to develop paying specific attention to the environment! Non woven products, derivates from 100% biodegradable resources based on vegetable and natural fibres will be part of our standard offering!
